English Instruction As Mission (Downtown Missions Fellowship)

Teaching English is not just a way to get into countries that are resistant to our worldview, it is a valuable service and gives workers a respected role in the nations that we hope to serve. English instruction is one of the most strategic ways that foreigners can live among the people of the host culture and be witnesses. This seminar will examine the strategic nature of English as mission, see why it's in such high demand, address potential ethical issues, and look into how to address present needs through teaching English. If you are a teacher, recent grad, graduating student, or just interested, please join us! Nurture Program participants should also plan to attend for this time of fellowship and training.
