Exodus means "a going out" or "departure." In this study of chapters 1-18, we will see the Lord's faithfulness to His covenant promises, His divine rescue of His people from enslavement in Egypt, and His incredible ability to sustain and protect the people He rescued. Exodus is a redemption story which will point us to the Redeemer, Jesus Christ, each week.
